Condolence & Memory Journal

My Great Aunt Vernie taught me to love decorating cakes like she did and her catering skills were something else. She was just like a sister to my mother having been only 10 years older than my mother they did everything together. We would have liked to have been able to attend the funeral but we're not told about it. Very very sad that the people who loved her were left out. If Vernie could have called we know she would have picked up the phone and we would have had a long chat... We will never forget her cute laugh, long story jokes and midwest accent!

Vernabell was such a kind, loving woman and a great cook. She was good friends with my Mother Mildred Myers of Crawfordsville. They played bunco and went on trips. I just heard of her passing. So sorry for the family's loss.

Please know how very sorry I am for your loss. Grandma Vernie although I only met her a couple of times, was always a very kind woman. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
