SNYDER, DAN E. – 49

Dan E. Snyder, 49, of Lafayette, passed away at 11:25 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 in Seton Hospital at St. Elizabeth Central Hospital.

Born on September 6, 1964 in Lafayette, he was the son of Ronald E. Snyder and Betty M. (Darnell) Snyder of Pettit. He attended Harrison High School. Dan was a self-employed handyman.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and friends and watching football and was an avid Colts fan and also watching basketball being an avid Pacers fan.

Surviving with his parents are six sisters: Debbie Johnson of Rossville, Cheryl Parker (husb: Stephen) of Lafayette, Peggy Hollingsworth of Lafayette, Mary Frisby of Rossville, Judy Ashton (fiance: Kerry Wiegand)of Pettit and Wanda Snyder of West Lafayette, his companion: Denise Hamilton, an aunt, Beverly Banton of Lafayette, two close cousins, Nancy Travis and Caril Bloyd, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 3-5 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 followed by the service at 5 p.m. at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Hippensteel Funeral Home entrusted with care.
