Judith "Judy" Boerger, 74, of Lafayette, passed away at 12:05 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at IU Health Arnett Hospital. Born August 1, 1939 in Monticello, IN, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Vera (Ray) Wert.
Judy married Arthur A. Boerger on August 20, 1960 in Lafayette and he survives. She had worked in parking facilities at Purdue University before retiring in 1996. She was a member of Moose Lodge.
Surviving with her husband is her son, Quinn M. Boerger of Bloomington, IL, her aunt Betty Carr of Monticello, IN, a sister-in-law, Lydia DeWandel of Brussells, Belgium, a niece, Marianne DeWandel of Brussells, Belgium, a brother-in-law, Robert Boerger of Luxemburg, a niece, Josee Boerger of Luxemburg, a nephew, Roby Boerger of Luxemburg, several beloved cousins, and her dear friend, Judy Cate of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Boerger.
Visitation Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Hippensteel Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery in Monticello.
