Marie A. (Klinker) Schupbach, 75, of Lafayette, passed away at home, at 12:00 p.m., on February 6, 2014. Born May 26, 1938 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. Klinker, Sr. and Helen (Doran) Klinker. She was a 1956 graduate of St. Francis High School.
Marie married Robert "Jack" Schupbach on December 29, 1956 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2004. She retired as a cook from Delphi High School in 1993. She enjoyed reading and riding with her daughter on her Can Am Spider motorcycle.
Surviving is her daughter, Brenda Pyatt (husband, Michael) of Lafayette; a sister, Liz Meadows (husband, Bob) of Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Andrew Klinker (wife, Patti) of Mulberry and Charles Klinker (wife, Judy) of Lafayette; a brother-in-law, Max Scowden of Lafayette and one grandson, Nicholas Walker. She was preceded in death by two sisters Bernadette Gleason and Marilyn Scowden and two brothers Francis J. Klinker, Jr. and Ralph Klinker.

Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Father Brendan Mbagwu officiating. Burial to follow at Pretty Prairie Cemetery.
