WRIGHT, GATLIN Winfred – age 21
Gatlin Winfred Wright, age 21, of Attica, after an automobile accident, on Friday, May 18, 2012, was called home by his Maker.
Born on June 14, 1990 in Lafayette, he was the son of Debbi Green-Clark (husb: Dr. James Clark) of Attica & the late John K. Wright, Jr. He attended Delphi High School.
He was employed at Teleservices. He was a member of Rails to Trails and Fur Takers of America. He loved fishing, hunting & trapping. He enjoyed playing basketball & trucking with his Uncle Royse. He was an avid Colts fan. He loved racing & NASCAR. Gatlin excelled in all sports.
Surviving with his mother & step-father are 2 sisters: Meriah Green-Wright & Lexie Clark both at home, 2 step-brothers: Kevin Wright & Chris Wright, both of Delphi, Aunts & Uncles: Jeff Green (wife: Adrienne) of Virginia Beach, VA, Shane Green (wife: Tisha) of Wingate, Shelly Wyman (husb: Paul) of Kokomo, Royse Green (wife: Jennifer) of Attica, Jennifer Pike (husb: Danny) of Fairbanks, IN, Dennis Wright (wife: Linda) of Attica, Rebecca Wright (companion: Jim McDonald) of Lafayette, Chris Wright (companion: Eric Muller) of Fishers, grandparents: Jolee Green of Terre Haute, Mary Jane Wright (husb: Chuck) of Carbondale & Brenda Green of West Point, as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Dr. L.W. "Doc" Green & John "Jack" Wright, Sr. & Uncle: Jon T. Green.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Pastor Kenneth Jo Green officiating. Interment at West Point Cemetery.
