TIDRICK, Jeanette Louise – 91

Jeanette Louise McMahon Tidrick, age 91 of Lafayette, passed away at 11:39 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012 at St. Mary's Healthcare. Born September 6, 1920 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Presley S. and Margaret L. Fiedler McMahon. She was a graduate of Logansport High School.

Jeanette married George H. Tidrick and he preceded her in death in 1964. She worked as an operator for General Telephone Company for 15 years and then in the welding and punch press department at the former Duncan Electric for 15 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, the German Club of Lafayette, and the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. Her hobbies included the computer and sewing.

Surviving are her three sons, Harry S. Tidrick (wife, Ronda) of Lafayette, John R. Tidrick (wife, Becky) of Logansport, and Joseph M. Tidrick (wife, Lynn) of Dayton, IN. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Gail.

Visitation 6-7 p.m. Tuesday followed by a 7 p.m. service at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Pastor Gilbert Kerrigan officiating.
