YORK, Jennifer Jo – 28

Jennifer Jo York, age 28 of Lafayette, passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born October 31, 1983 in Monticello, she was the daughter of Patty (Cole) York McClatchey (husband, John) of Covington, IN and Terry York of Russellville, IN.
Jennifer was educated in the Covington Schools. She was assistant manager at the Super Pantry on 350 South for three years and worked at Wabash National Manufacturing before her death. Jennifer loved spending time with her children and family. She enjoyed dirt bikes and off-road racing, Fox Racing, cars, and working on cars with her fiancé.
Surviving with her parents and stepfather are her three children, Caitlin, Ian, and Alexander all at home, her fiancé, Carl Hart of Lafayette, a half sister, Tatum Showalter, maternal grandfather Bobby Cole of Greenfield, IN, paternal grandmother Christine York of Crawfordsville, IN, four aunts and one uncle and their families.

Visitation from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Hippensteel Funeral Home with service to follow at 7 p.m. Celebrant Carla Ellis officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Jennifer's children. A savings account has been set up in their names at Chase Bank, any branch in Lafayette. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
