M. Linda Lucas Moore, 63 of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly in her residence at 3:35 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012. Born in Cincinnati, OH on June 11, 1949 she was the daughter of the late William Carlton and Helen Josephine Flischel Lucas. She had also resided in Midland, MI, coming to Tippecanoe County in 1991.
Linda's marriage was to Roger D. Moore and he preceded her in death on June 17, 2012. She was an administrative assistant at Purdue University for 10 years and a homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed horses and volunteering with Special Needs Cases.
Surviving is her daughter Tracey McCay (husband, Jim) of Michigan City, son Robert Muench of Buffalo Grove, IL, two sisters, Janet Bennett (husband, Jeff) and Pat Adams (husband, Jim) and her brother, Tim Lucas (wife, Linda) all of Kentucky. Also surviving is her granddaughter, Corinne V. McCay.
Visitation one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Celebrant Linda Regnier officiating.
